Step 1: To upload versions of documents or other files for a project, go to the Project and click “View Assets” button. Follow the red arrow.

Step 2: From here, you can see all assets under the project. Select the required “Stages” where you want to upload the versions of an asset. Let’s select the “Stage: Items pending customer response/approval” stage. You may select the Stages from the drop-down menu button.

Step 3: Double click the asset you want new versions of. In this example, let’s choose Asset ID: 1005607.

Step 4a: You will see the asset with the ID and all the details related to that asset. You may drag and drop the new version. The interface will change slightly allowing the files to be dragged and dropped to the window.

When you drag and drop the asset into the asset window or browse to add a new version of the asset, you will see “Upload New Version” dialog box as shown below. You need to fill the “Version Notes”, select language if you want to change, make choices in the checkbox for “Draft” or “Active Version” and Hit “Confirm” button to upload the new version of the asset.

As you can see below, in the “Upload New Version” dialog box, you need to fill ‘Notes’ section, select ‘Language’ as per your need, choose the checkbox for ‘Draft’ or ‘Active Version’ and click on ‘Confirm’ button to proceed uploading the latest active version of the Asset ID: 1005607.

Step 4b: You may also click on “Upload New Version” to manually upload the asset version, as shown below.

Step 5: This pop-up dialog box will appear when you click the “Upload New Version” button. You can add “Notes” and click “Browse” to add a new version to the existing asset.

Step 6: Whether it was dragged and dropped or manually added, this pop-up box will appear and the updated version is added as you can see below. Suppose you added an updated version of older image with just slight changes made, you can add in the “Notes” or any description and select the button “Active Version” to make it the active version of the “original asset.” Then, click “Confirm.” See 2nd image for a closer look.

Step 7: Once you confirm, the updated image will appear, along with the asset details, as shown below, indicating that this is the Version 1 of the Asset. You can also go to “Versions” tab.

Step 8: In the “Versions” tab, you will see all the related versions of the asset. You can choose which version to set as Active Version and which one to download.

There are buttons at the bottom of each version thumbnails. (From the left) The first is the “Add to Basket” Icon, then the “Download” icon, the “View” the asset, third is the “Active Version,” and “Delete”- the bin icon.

You may repeat above steps to add any file types to any existing asset or even add a new asset, then, add updated versions of it as well. All version details can be seen here.

Step 9: Whenever an asset has multiple “Versions,” it has multi-paper version icon on top of the Asset. You can download any of the versions you need.  If an asset doesn’t have any versions, there will be no multiple paper icon shown.
