How to add Tasks to a Share-Board / Project? (duplicate)
Step 1: Let’s create a new project – based on your requirements

Step 2: Add a new project name as “New Items” for example. Fill all details as shown in the options below.
Note: Project Types
- Normal Project – This is a standard project where the need is to complete all the stages of the project before any of the assets created, as part of the project can be added to the library.
- Processing – This is where you have a permanent project, where the assets being processed can be approved and added to the Knowledge Hub at any of the different stages in the project.
- Product Package – When you are working on a artwork design project e.g. a company brochure, the assets will need to go through to the final stage where they are approved similar to the ‘Normal Project’. However, the difference here is that the final approved assets are packaged into a zip file and added to the Knowledge Hub as a single asset. When viewing an asset like this, you will see the constituent assets listed as thumbnails on the Preview screen. The purpose of this type is to allow the single asset to be sent to a designer for him/her to work on a new artwork when required.

Step 3: Click Save and then you will get a dialog box stating, “Project creation successful!.” Then click “OK” button

Step 4: In the Dashboard, you can now view the new project name with project ID “New Items (3370)” in this case as show below.

Step 5: Whenever you want to view this project, you can search for this project using the “Project name” or “ID”. For this, we searched it as “3370” and the project has appeared on top of the list.

Step 6: Click the project name “New Items (3370)” to open and to create workflows.

Step 7: Upon opening the new project – “New Items (3370),” you will have all Admin access to handle this project. Only with the Admin access can you view/access all the options, as shown below.

Step 8: Now, we create unique workflows, by clicking the “Workflow” button.

Step 9: When you click the “Workflow” button, as shown in Step 8, it will direct you to a different page, see below. Click the “Edit” button to customize the existing workflow items. Follow the red arrows.

Step 10: When you click the “edit” button on existing workflows, the below dialog box will appear. This is where you can replace the name and description to “Items to be picked up and actioned” – see below. You can update any details you need for description space, as well.
Do the same, to create as many Workflows/Stages, as you required. After replacing the name and description to “Items to be picked up and actioned,” click Save.

Step 11: As you save, the updated name will reflect under the workflows. Repeat Step 9 to 11 to edit next workflow, named “Items being actioned.” After that, all the workflows are updated according to your requirements, need as shown below.
Ex: Click “+New stage” button and name it as “Items pending customer response/approval” and Save, to add more stages

Step 12: You will get a “New stage added successfully” message, and the new stage will appear in the workflow list, as shown below. Create another stage “Items signed-off by customer” and Save it. Follow Step 14.

Step 13: When all the workflows are updated, the list is now ready, as shown below.

Step 14: All the required workflows are successfully created, let’s go back to the Project “New Items (3370).” You can see all four tasks that we created – see below – in the Tasks view Gantt chart. You can also create subtasks using the icon below.
