Send Files through Safe Send

Step 1: You can find the Safe Send button usually just on the side of the page – in the Dashboard / Homepage.

Note: Safe Send Features in IMF allows you to send encrypted files and messages to others within or outside the organization in their emails.

Step 2: It will then expand and show a form you need to fill in to send your files.

Information required:

• File description
• Select Files to send
• Expiry Date – you may set an expiry date for the files for download
• “Send To” – email address of the recepient
• Message (optional) – if you want to add a message or instructions
• Password – to encrypt the message (must be minimum of 6 letters and 2 numbers).

Click Send Files to safely send any digital assets.

Step 3: Let’s test Safe Send and transfer “Business Strategy” PDF file.

Here in this sample, I have filled details accordingly to our requirement. And when every information is filled you can send the files. If the password criterion is not met the password box will turn red indicating that it’s not valid then you need to correct it, only then the “send files” option will be enabled to send.

Step 4: Once it’s sent, a dialog box will appear with a message that the file was successfully transferred.

Step 5: The recipient will then get an email notification, similar to this, with the download link. This can be customized according to your brand and company requirements.

If you have set a password, it will send an email with the Password soon after.
