Video Annotations and Video Trimming
Step 1: For Video related actions, you need to select the video for Video Annotations, Video Trimming, or to combine video clips. With that, let’s head to the “Knowledge Centre.”

Step 2: From the Latest Contents on Knowledge Centre, let’s select the video on the right.
Note: To identify the asset as video, a “Video”
Icon will be seen on the top right corner of the asset.

Step 3: When you click the video digital asset, the asset’s dialog box will pop up and you will see the options to “Video Annotations” and to “Trim Video” – see below.

Step 4: To use the Video Annotations option, you need to select “Annotations”, then “New Annotation,” or you can even choose a project from the drop-down list.

Step 5: When you click “New Annotations,” you can now “Add Annotation Name” and update your “Annotation Description” by using the timeline. Once done, click “Add annotation.”

Step 6: When you click “Add Annotation,” you will get a dialog box to write the “New Project Title,” add it and click “Confirm”.

Step 7: To view the Annotations, refresh the page and click the “Annotations” tab and “Choose a project” from the drop-down list.

Step 8: Select the Project as per our example – “User Guide Testing.” Click the project, we can now see the respective annotations and the timeline for the annotation – tagged as “30th second.”

This is how you annotate the video.
Step 9: To TRIM a video, Select the option “Trim Video” from any video digital asset. This option is only available for all Digital Video asset formats.

Step 10: You can now edit the video and trim it using the timeline cursor, to adjust the timeline, then click “Add to basket.” Let’s say we are trimming to “0 to 15s” – see 2nd image.

Step 11: A dialog box will pop-up, that says “The video has been successfully added to the Shopping Basket”. You can then download it from the basket [Follow the Checkout User Guides for more information].
